Precision Piano

Every Tuning Deserves Concert-Level Service

Every piano deserves careful, precise tuning. We approach each instrument with the same attention to detail expected in a concert setting, whether it is a family piano, studio instrument, church piano, school instrument, or performance grand.

We take the time to understand the condition and history of each piano so that its tuning is stable, musical, and appropriate for the instrument.

Our goal is not simply to tune a piano, but to provide the level of care that allows the instrument to perform at its best.

Repairs, Regulation & Voicing

For clients who appreciate the highest level of service, we provide detailed attention to the mechanical and musical aspects of the piano.

Repairs address the problems that keep a piano from performing properly. Regulation brings the action into precise adjustment for consistency, responsiveness, and control. Voicing refines the character of the instrument's tone.

The goal is not simply to make a piano work, but to help the instrument perform at its highest potential.

Complete Piano Restoration

A fine piano can be worth restoring when its structure, materials, history, and musical potential justify the work.

Complete restoration can involve rebuilding the action, soundboard and bridges, refinishing the cabinet, restringing, and carefully restoring the instrument's mechanical and musical systems.

We evaluate each piano individually and discuss what restoration can realistically accomplish before significant work begins.

Piano Moving

Pianos are heavy, delicate instruments that require careful handling. Proper moving protects the cabinet, action, pedals, legs, and other vulnerable components from unnecessary damage.

Wally, our dedicated piano mover, brings attention, diligence, and piano-moving experience to every move. From stairs and steep inclines to challenging access, we take the time to determine the safest way to move your instrument.
